This Privacy Policy sets forth the rules for the collection and processing of data provided by Users in the form of the so-called ‘cookies’ in connection with the use of website administered by DATAX Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Wrocław (ul Fabryczna 10, 53-609 Wrocław, KRS (National Court Register): 0000126740, NIP (Tax ID No.): 5220100172, email:, and in connection with video surveillance (CCTV).

What are cookies and what data are collected?

Cookies are IT data, in particular text files, that are stored on the device that is used by the user to view the website. These data include information that is collected automatically when the user visits our website, such as an IP address, details of the browser used, URL address of the site previously visited by the user (referer link), information about transmission and reports on errors, if any.

For what purpose are cookies used?

Cookies are used to adapt the website content to the preferences of the user, to create statistics and analyse user behaviour, and as auxiliary material to help with server administration. Google tools, such as Google Analytics, are used to track activity and create statistics.

Is it possible to disable cookies?

Yes, users may at any time change settings relating to access or storage of cookies using their browser settings or settings of the end device used to view the website.

Monitoring at DATAX premises

In order to ensure safety of our employees and customers, DATAX premises are monitored using video surveillance (CCTV). Video surveillance data that contain personal data are collected on the basis of legitimate interests of the controller (ensuring protection of people and property), and for that purpose they are provided to entities that ensure technical support for our cameras. Surveillance records are stored for the period of 30 days.

Are data collected by DATAX secured?

Data contained in cookies or surveillance recordings are protected against unauthorised access or other forms of breach using appropriate technical and organisational measures in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016, Official Journal EU L of 2016 No. 119, p. 1). These data are not provided to any entities other than providers of IT and statistical services to DATAX.

What are the rights of data subjects?
Data subjects have, where justified, the right of access to their data and the rights to rectification, to erasure, to restriction of processing and to data portability, as well as the right to object to data processing or lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, if they believe that the processing of their personal data violates personal data protection laws.
